The expanded agreement brings blockchain, artificial intelligence and data monetization technology into a wider range of healthcare and wellness applications
Philadelphia, 31 August 2026 – The way healthcare data is collected, managed and used is changing rapidly, and DataMeds AI is taking another step toward building a more connected digital healthcare ecosystem. The company has expanded its technology licensing agreement with Datavault AI, extending the partnership beyond pharmaceutical distribution to include commercial healthcare, healthspan and wellness applications.
The agreement brings Datavault AI’s data monetization and real-world asset tokenization technologies into DataMeds AI’s EinsteinRx platform. In simple terms, the partnership is designed to help turn healthcare information into a useful digital asset while giving patients greater control over how their data can be accessed and potentially used in transactions.
The expanded technology is expected to support different areas of healthcare, including pharmacies, medical services, laboratories and wearable devices. This could allow information collected from different sources to be connected within a broader digital healthcare environment.
At the center of the development is the growing importance of healthcare data. According to information cited by the companies, healthcare data accounts for more than 30 percent of global data assets and is growing at an estimated annual rate of 36 percent. As healthcare organizations collect increasing amounts of information, companies are looking for new ways to organize, protect, and create value from that data.
Blockchain technology could play an important role in this process. Rather than simply storing information, blockchain can create a secure and traceable record of transactions. When combined with artificial intelligence and data monetization tools, it can potentially help healthcare companies develop new digital services while giving individuals more visibility into how their information is used.
The revised agreement also changes how Datavault AI will be compensated. Instead of preferred shares, Datavault AI is expected to receive common shares representing approximately 19.9 percent of DataMeds AI’s common stock once the required closing conditions are satisfied. The companies said the change was made for tax optimization purposes. The transaction remains dependent on other related business arrangements, including acquisitions involving Tollo Health and intellectual property portfolios from EOS Technology Holdings.
The timing of the agreement also connects with DataMeds AI’s broader plans for its Health Lives Here platform. The company began a private launch of the app for NFL Alumni Health members around the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. The platform is intended to bring together healthcare information and support more personalized digital health experiences.
The development comes as the healthcare technology industry continues to explore the potential of AI, blockchain, and patient-controlled data. The US blockchain in healthcare market was valued at $7.13 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach $595.31 billion by 2032, according to figures cited in the company announcement.
For DataMeds AI and Datavault AI, the expanded partnership represents a move toward a broader healthcare data strategy. Instead of limiting blockchain applications to pharmaceutical distribution, the companies are looking at how the technology could support a wider digital health ecosystem.
As healthcare becomes increasingly connected through artificial intelligence, electronic records, wearable devices and digital platforms, the value of reliable and responsibly managed data is likely to become even more important. The DataMeds AI and Datavault AI agreement highlights how emerging technologies are being combined to explore new possibilities in healthcare data management, patient engagement and digital health services.
